Heart of a River is an exploration of art and data where water, cities, climate change and the expanding role of artists and composers in a data driven society are the focus of the artistic piece. Artist and composer Dj Spooky collaborates with choreographer Jody Sperling to produce visual and auditory art. The dancer’s body gestures generate electronic tones that map to muscle movement and motion data captured by the XTH Sense.
